Quite liked this mindset. Definitely freaking out over here, but hanging on to what little hope I have.
If you're freaked out, say "I'm freaking out." If you're scared, say "I'm scared." But quit with this "We're all doomed" shit. One of these is expressing your feelings and the other is telling everyone we should just give up now and no.

Driving my kid to practice, I saw a Jeep with red lights outlining the headlights and immediately thought, “oh no, that Jeep is turning venin!” Which is a totally normal thought to have … right? RIGHT??

Today I whined to my husband that our work cafeteria was out of diet pepsi (I drink two things: water and diet pepsi). When he arrived at work later this AM, he brought me 3 already-cold cans from the house. I don't need huge romantic gestures, I just need an angel who'll bring me my fix. 🖤🤍
