Everyone commenting this way is getting the cause and effect backward. People are not slobs on planes because the planes are bad and cramped. They're slobs because they're slobs, and it's not worth it for the airlines to do anything to improve beyond the bare minimum they're paying for.
Exactly. But when you run a flying Motel 6, you can’t really complain when folks roll up looking like a Monday after a NASCAR event

The fact that only 3 (by my count) Republican members of Congress have spoken out about the Witkoff situation shows how thoroughly corrupted and compromised the entire party has become from top to bottom. None of this is about just Trump - it is the entire political party.

There Is. No. Republican. Healthcare INSURANCE plan. Never has been. And probably never will be. It might take actual WORK to put a good plan together. Why not do Medicare For All and be done with it????

Reprehensible!! How can this be the USA? This young man was born here and has lived here his whole life!! #ReleaseChristianJimenez
ICE kidnapped a 17-year-old U.S. citizen named Christian Jimenez. Jimenez, a high school senior born in Newberg, Oregon, was driving on his school’s lunch break when ICE/CBP agents stopped his car, smashed his window, and abducted him on November 21, 2025.

6 people have died from a nationwide listeria outbreak.

31 babies have been hospitalized with botulism from contaminated baby formula.

Instead of firing crucial FDA employees & attacking the agency, Trump should be hiring more experts to crack down on these dangerous outbreaks.

I can’t believe they are getting away with stunts like this.
NBC: In June, Don Jr & Eric touted the new Trump cell phone. Months later, there's no sign the phone is real. The Trump Mobile website scrubbed any mention of a release date but continues to collect $100 down payments on the promise of availability “later this year.”

"We must meet this moment with urgency and focus — and with the clear and tangible vision it requires."

Really looks like the United States is about to launch a regime change war against Venezuela with:

-No casus belli
-No authorization from Congress
-No allies or international support
-No plan for a post-Maduro Venezuela
-No preparation for any sort of stabilization or containment of the fallout

Apparently Hegseth has nothing better to do.
This should enrage everyone.

Kelly didn’t do anything wrong here, and he certainly didn’t do anything worthy of a court martial
Hegseth is now threatening to recall Sen. Mark Kelly to active duty in order to court martial him.

If you read Tatiana Schlossberg’s essay in the New Yorker yesterday and want to learn more about her work, here’s an interview she sat down for when she was promoting her book “Inconspicuous Consumption.”
Tatiana Schlossberg On The Power Of Our ‘Inconspicuous Consumption’
A new report finds global efforts to combat climate change over the past several years have been "gravely insufficient,” and according to the Global Commission on Adaptation, it's not so much money, but rather a lack of political leadership that's the source of the problem. A new book from former New York Times science reporter Tatiana Schlossberg details ways in which our everyday choices in clothing, technology, food and fuel contribute to the problem — and how consumers can make a difference by demanding more of the companies and governments behind the systems at play. Jim Braude was joined by Tatiana Schlossberg.
