We have reached peak "NATO expansion propaganda". Jeffrey Sachs claims he was personally told by someone he didn't meet that there was a broken promise to a person who says it wasn't made.

Aruannete kirjutamine on kõige tüütum siis, kui kõik on hästi, tuleb lihtsalt tekstipudru toota. Samas on kõik asi natuke liiga detailne, et tehisarule mäluda visata.

I really don't understand what it is that Slot is doing. What's the big idea in losing again and getting out of the Carabao Cup? Carabao may at this point be the only thing he could still win.

Tervisi Pariisist! USA valimisi on olnud laivis parem jälgida, sest valimisrakendustes on piisavalt algandmeid alati olemas ja on saanud ajalehenurgal kiirelt trende modelleerida. Praegu on andmetega natuke segasem, aga tunduks justkui, et Kõlvart Tallinnas linnavalitsust ei tee.

We published an interesting report. Many people have said it is the best report. I don't know, but this is what they say.
Blockchain's Role in Transforming Europe's Film Industry
The findings presented in the report lead to a set of recommendations that we propose to European policy and industry stakeholders. These recommendations chart a practical roadmap for unlocking blockc...

My very first academic article has now been published! Entitled "Film editors as chance-seekers", it combines theory and artistic research and is based on my 20-year career as a filmmaker and 10-year experience of teaching film editing. Read here: www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....

Our defence is not good. Kerkez was good in Bournemouth, but in Liverpool, he is shaky both in defence and in attack. Need Robertson on the pitch. Konate is shaky, too. Worrisome in the longer term. #NEWLIV

Let us not the mistake where large countries are dividing Europe and selling out small countries/regions to dictatorial rule against their will.
Today 86 years ago Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union became allies and decided jointly to divide much of Eastern Europe between themselves: half of Poland to Germany, the Baltics, Bessarabia and Finland to the Soviets/Russia. Resulted in half a century of suffering for the Balts under Russia.

Currently attending SailGP event at Sassnitz, Germany. SailGP is Formula1 of sailing. Only 5-year-old international series, based on innovations in foils, tech & data. Yesterday a new record was made - Danish team reached 103.9 km/h. Fascinating new sport/product. Media formats also well developed.

The cost of helping Ukraine win is far lower than the price of a Russian victory. The EU has the means. What’s missing is the will.
Military support to Ukraine is more important than enlargement
EU enlargement alone won’t bring peace or security to Ukraine. Without increased military support, Europe risks prolonging the war

Wow, ERR News (Estonian Public Broadcaster's English language edition) has translated my recent essay in Sirp into English. What I argued there was that Estonia would need to start preparing for multimodal AI models (I discuss LeCun's latent-space-based models, etc.). news.err.ee/1609762446/i...
