Becoming increasingly clear we’re gonna have to build a parallel infrastructure for all the media we really love. The reason all of this is happening under the color of law is hyperconsolidation, dissent being traded straight up for merger approval, or fear of harassment.

My mom isn’t on social media, not political at all but after this week she straight up canceled Hulu, Disney, + ESPN. It took one event to “wake her up.” I wonder who else has done the same?

I would trust a man wearing an old timey striped prison suit and a busted manacle before I trusted someone dressed like ICE. The relief they must have felt when they realized it was just a normal criminal there to rob them.
