Over a 3 day suspension…

On twitter, I got 7 days for wondering how Steve Bannon’s liver keeps up and another 7 for wanting a soap opera character to die.

I typed “how is he still alive?” re: the walking corpse that is our president and got a 3 day suspension immediately after hitting send.

I have a hard time believing she never got a twitter suspension.

I can't help but think that all this is an overreaction to a few wealthy men finding out that people don't like them very much.

Perhaps. But I don’t want a dude who’s aspired to be an edgelord well into adulthood in leadership either.

Something the US needs to accept too is that without a large-scale correction imposing consequences on a large number of people, the crisis of governance here will continue indefinitely

Also, it’s one thing to bring formerly right wing white men into the “big tent” it’s another thing to give them positions of power when they’ve done nothing to prove any actual change in ideology.

Just this last week alone, the outlet in question actually ran a piece in which they posed the insane "Is Ms. Rachel funded by Hamas?" smear as a legitimate form of journalistic inquiry. I think it is more than reasonable to stop giving NYT editorial leadership the benefit of the doubt.
