The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Shopify's statement makes it sound like the bait and switch was the issue rather than the goddamn swastika
Shopify has removed the Kanye West store selling swastika T-shirts because, according to the company, "this merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms.”

The best part of all this TikTok ban nonsense is that barring a deal the CCP signs off on, or a law change, we’re back at this again in 90 days

I'm told TikTok's host (Oracle) and CDN (Akamai) brought it back online today because Trump assured them they'd not be subject to penalties - something he can't entirely promise.

Whatever one's feelings on the ban's merit, they're defying federal law based on a not-yet-president's word. Huge gamble

The follow/unfollow spam from earlier Twitter is rearing its ugly head. They really just shouldn’t send those once someone already follows ~1k already.
I love @bsky.app and really enjoy the community here. My one gripe is that I wish there were better tools (or any tools at all really) for filtering notifications. It makes it hard for me to engage with people bc my notifications are just a firehose with no way to filter them. @support.bsky.team

More from Zuck: "We're bringing back civic content. For a while the community asked to see less politics because it was making people stressed, so we stopped recommending these posts. But it feels like we're in a new era now..."
