Every use of AI that I hate is downstream of corporate capitalism. Why are students and teachers alike turning to ChatGPT? Overworked and stressed, seeking ease. Why are people making AI art? No time or desire to take up a hobby involving risk of failure when already stressed.
Idk how to keep telling ppl that the problem isn't just Ai art. It is capitalism. The problem is and continues to be capitalism.

If your first inclination to honor a dead artist is to "create" and post something using generative AI, maybe consider just not doing that, and enjoying the work that they made in the form in which they put it into the world.
