That JB Pritzker sounds relevatory reflects how far a whole generation of Democratic politicians strayed from the absolute basics of electoral politics: say what you mean, act like you sincerely like your constituents, and don't constantly bring up how much you like and agree with your opponents.

So likely the world’s first Trillionaire Elon, who received $36 Billion in govt subsidies and contracts to generate his wealth, is telling the people who built this country what they can live without, as he giggles with his chain saw. Something ain’t right

Cutting the National Park budget might save a few billion—but parks generate $55.6B for the economy. Is it really ‘cost savings’ if we lose more than we save? #InvestInNature #NationalParks
Here is what national park services got cut or closed this month
The NPS and multiple national parks are feeling the effects of the federal government cuts.

"You cannot erase non-binary and transgender people because you give birth to more of us each day." - Elisa Rae Shupe 🏳️‍⚧️
I'm sad to share that the trans vet that took her life outside the VA last week was apparently Elisa Rae Shupe.

She's someone many of us know - she was responsible for the mass email leak that let us know how the ADF, Heritage, etc planned to enact trans eradication we see today.

RIP Elisa.

I’m not a scientist, but with five plane crashes and three plane touches in the past three weeks, I have to believe that DEI was the only thing keeping airplanes safe.

Maybe we should bring it back?

Anyone who thinks we need a fascist dictator bescause somewhere a boy wants to be a girl or an immigrant wants to mow their lawn has confused others business with their own, private conduct with public interest, exclusivity with prosperity, and probably their own ass with a hole in the ground.

Pep talk time. For some of us this is incredibly new. For others, painfully familiar. Because we the people have been here before. Pushing back against government, systems, and even each other. Open a history book. Look at whose shoulders we have been standing on.

People have gathered outside USAID HQ for press event with Democratic Congressmen Beyer, Raskin, Connolly and Olzewski and Senator Van Hollen where they're addressing the building's mysterious shutdown today in the midst of the Trump admin dismantling the agency.

The thing to understand about Trump is like in his first term, he doesn’t want to govern. He doesn’t want to learn. He wants to campaign and look good.

Republicans know this. So there are battles going on right now to take control of the actual process of governing.

A reminder - don't use Amazon, but go to bookshops, which play a far more vital role in promoting literacy just by simply making books more visible, and allow you to find things by chance rather than by what the algorithm decides.

US women in 2025:

Get long acting birth control, don’t delay the divorce, make sure your finances are in order and you have cash on hand, make a “go bag”, make a list of trusted contacts, make sure your passports and IDs are up to date. What else?
