Then again, the only legitimately ghibliesque ttrpg is Flying Circus. War and death aren't off the Ghibli table exactly (though they don't get inordinate screen time dwelling on the action).
Ghibli is also Mononoke-Hime, Howl's Moving Castle, Porco Rosso, Nausicaa... Etc.

In roleplaying games, things are a little different; we're co-creating to some degree. What a designer is doing, is setting the expectations and bounds of the sort of game we're experiencing.
(Ghibli vibes and "kill a lot of people" sure doesn't seem like a good match to me...)

I’ve started predominantly buying and playing games from indie creators in light of all this. I don’t know whether there’s slop in the major AA and AAA games, but I know Sally, the autistic yuri fan who can’t stop posting Touhou foot fetish fanart, probably has my back due to her “🚫 AI” in bio

So, @unormal.bsky.social - I know you've been doing optimization stuff. Want a save file with a real frame rate problem in combat due to generating an unconscionable number of clockwork beetles? (which all leveled up due to fighting Monads which didn't thin them out at all)
