Yeah it’s not like I take pleasure in having to defend Schumer but he managed a ton of delay and the excision of a lot of awful parts of the bill
I mean I give Schumer a ton of shit but he kept his whole team including Fetterman onside, he peeled off 3 others, his side worked the system a ton to get a whole lot of garbage taken out of this disaster bill, yes the name change flex is dumb but guy actually put in proper work this time
Simply beyond parody. It would be laughable if Democratic leadership wasn’t catastrophically inept at everything other than helping to blow up starving children and their parents in Gaza (or police anyone here who’s against it). Just the worst possible people at the worst possible time.

Once again I beg of people to pause and look around and realize that it's basically only because of the lawyers and the law that Trump has faced any meaningful opposition to his agenda.
Obviously "the law will not save us" but actually thanks to lawyers a TON of damage has been prevented.
