If my hype keeps on hyping until next year, after the dreadful december at work, Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon Legends ZA DLC and Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4, this may be another Genshin Situation for me.

Ah, interesting - they're doing a slightly polished up re-release of the original Guild Wars (with all expansions built in) - out in a couple weeks for $20.
Always good to see legacy games like this getting some love. Especially as there's still nothing like the OG Guild Wars. One of a kind game.

Two things can be true: 1.) The Game Awards are meaningless and we shouldn't take them all that seriously. 2.) Award shows of its scale DO rewrite the mainstream history of the art form, whether they deserve to or not, and its okay to care that it's so thoughtless despite having that responsibility.
