I’m a buff. History and bios. Sports, especially baseball and the Mets. Plus Wisconsin Badgers basketball. Been around a long time and seen a lot. So “this, too, shall pass.” Luckiest guy in the world to meet my love after some failures.

Trump’s answer to rising prices will be to send a $200 check to everyone who voted for him. Illegal and immoral. Think that would stop him?

Is it just me or are they prepared to let many of us simply die.
Can someone talk me down from this?

Biden did some good things. But his legacy for me will be giving us Clarence Thomas and Donald Trump.
I assumed he forgot himself for a moment, and the backhand to Harris was unintended. And I wouldn't be surprised if he's already apologized. But some of these replies just underscore the fact that the most disrespected person in American is still the Black woman. That's why doing it publicly matters

So Pete and nothing else? What if Pete signs with the Giants?
Bregman should be nowhere near the Mets. He'll have a good 2025 but he will fall off a cliff after that. He's at the tail end of his prime. No thanks. Profar is due for his "odd year slump".

Tie between Stephen Miller and Mike Johnson.
What MAGA douche bag do you despise more than Elon Musk?

Unfortunately, he’ll probably show up at the memorial.
I’m not going to post Trump’s Jimmy Carter message. As I’m sure you already guessed, he found a way to make it about himself.

Agree on Taylor. Siri has a 40% K rate.
Some think Pete, if he doesn’t re-sign, will go to Seattle. I really like Tyrone Taylor as 4th outfielder. He proved he can come through in big moments, both offensively and defensively #LGM #Mets

Would love to have Bregman and Profar. Vientos to first. Pete to Frisco. Taylor 4th outfielder. Siri is a strikeout machine. Oh, and we need bullpen help.
Good morning Mets and baseball fans. Corbin Burns is off the table. Two of biggest questions revolve around Pete Alonso & Alex Bregman. If you could have only one, who would you choose? Here’s info on Bregman beyond the player. www.mlb.com/news/alex-br...

Would love to get Bregman and Profar, and have Pete be happy in Frisco.
I feel like Pete Alonso needs to watch A Christmas Carol and realize that greed is bad and just re-sign with the #Mets already #LGM #LFGM

Musk in Trump’s ear. “Fuhrer, you can do everything that Hitler did except murder 6 million Jews. Don’t worry about whether some brown people, even kids, die. Nobody would care. Look what that Commie FDR did to the Japanese Americans during WW2. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back”.
There is absolutely no doubt that Elon Musk is a Nazi and an anti-semite -- and he is the President-elect of the United States. This is beyond concerning.

I beg you to re-post this so that every single American is aware of the fact that Musk is a Nazi and that his colleagues are, too.

Which is followed by labor unrest and strikes. Kids, see these pictures of Starbucks and Amazon workers on strike. This is called a “picket line”. True Americans will not cross these lines and shop at Amazon and Starbucks. We won’t even cross a virtual “picket line” and shop online.

Agree. We had a delivery guy expound on how everything was good under Bush, then Obama messed it up, then Trump started to fix it, then Biden messed it up. He also said that they should leave Trump alone and go after “them Clintons and them “Bidens. WTF!
December 20, 2024 at 12:19 PM
When things go wrong, and they will, Trump will blame Elon, and quickly jettison him. And so it goes.
Agree and stipulate to all of this. Also true and very important: Trump has essentially made Musk the de facto veep or co-prez. And as the richest guy in the world he can't as easily be shitcanned as all the other Trump hires who get out of hand. He's ignorant, mercurial, drugged up and a ...

The great backlash to the Robber Barons’ in the early 1900’s was the rise of the unions. Now, it’s Deja vu. Amazon and Starbucks workers striking first. More to come, especially if Trump/Musk new policies only benefit corporations’ bottom lines and billionaires’ bank accounts. “Solidarity.”
