Memes/posts of DNC-loyal liberals making fun of GOP-loyal liberals flip-flopping and poor understanding of economics are so frustrating. Y'all both support the same system and neither of you know how its supposed to work, because both of you think the system isn't working as its meant to right now. It is. Fascism is capital's safeguard. Liberal capitalism of any kind demands infinite growth (infinite profit-increase) from companies, and the most assured way to increase profit is to increase exploitation of workers. When those workers start to push back and socialist sentiment spreads, the ruling class leads a push toward the right, like how European capitalists deliberately caused the fascist movement of the 20s and 30s, unintentionally causing WWII. All over Europe, fascism was spread to combat socialism following the 1917 Revolution in Russia. The worsening of worldwide wealth inequality is INHERENTLY AND MATHEMATICALLY the never-ending goal of the system both parties support. The only problem is that the worsening of material conditions can generate leftist sentiment in the working classes). Fascism is the solution, it is the violent placebo to convince the people they're getting what they really want: the fairness of socialism. So whille you make fun of each other, the ruling class is laughing at all of you. And so is the real left. We're just laughing angrily.
