American Communist. I deplore the Democratic Party for preventing the real left from rising in this country.

Maybe I’m dumb today and it should be obvious, but you’re gonna have to tell me what that is 😂

Find a way for me to gamble on books and you’ve got a deal

The Democrats dragged us to a Trump-Musk presidency with genocide and right-wing economic policy.

Liberalism cannot help but rot toward fascism. It is such a morally and logically terrible economic system, it must call on its violent right arm to enforce itself.

They just said that lots of ppl recycling and using paper straws logically HAS to add up to big bc all big change, bc all small things add up, like how a statement from a parent can inspire a child who inspires someone else to great things. And that all big things are made of small things

All big changed may be made up of small ones, but not all small changed make up big ones. Rectangles and squares

I was just trying to debate one on the realities of corporate responsibility for climate change and the inability to halt it through small personal sacrifices like recycling, and they say my conclusions don’t make sense, essentially because of the butterfly effect. Imbeciles.

Oh good lord

There are just oddles of research, not paid for by companies who profit from causing climate change, on the individual person’s inability to affect the circumstances under our current economic and political circumstances. Even 8b people go plastic free, we’re still fucked. Just not quite so soon.

You’re wrong. The small acts factually do not add up to anything of consequence. Collective refusal to purchase certain items until they were made green (a type of environmental **revolution**) would make some difference, but not even enough.

75% of emissions come from 100 companies, but almost all of the remaining 25% also comes from military and corporate activity. Nothing we do as regular people, short of some form of genuine revolution, can realistically divert the course.
