Remembrance Day is now dominated by performative nonsense. You don't need a house sized poppy and a model spitfire to show you care about the sacrifices made for the country. Where's the sense of dignity and the quiet respect gone?

SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

I've always felt that Johnson and Farage put self-interest over the national interest - hence their dallying with Putin and his oligarchs. But directly colluding with a foreign government to take down the BBC feels like an act of supreme treachery

Just absolutely classic BBC. You've just broadcast the most successful programme of the year, uniting Gen Z kids online and Boomers on broadcast in a return to appointment television. And instead of celebrating, your DG reigns due to a made-up right-wing scandal.

A national newspaper journalist went on a British TV channel to claim police stats showed asylum-seekers committed 44% of sex crimes in Dorset.

This shocking claim was treated as fact by the channel which promoted the clip on social media where it was amplified by AI.

Except... it's bollocks.

Very amusing to watch Reform complain about all the things wrong with the UK - every one caused by Brexit - without actually mentioning Brexit, as if they happened by magic.

Belgian court convicts two for EU funds misuse linked to Nigel Farage's Brexit group.

Farage is surrounded by the stench of financial malpractice. One of his closest advisors is 'posh' George Cottrell, a convicted fraudster and expert in criminal money-laundering.

🇬🇧 Look around Reform voters — this is Britain:

12.9 million pensioners

1.9 million on minimum wage

8 million on Universal Credit

2.2 million too sick to work

4.2 million on health-related benefits

Reform aren’t fighting for “the people” — they’re coming for you.
