I am quite sure that the Trumpsters who tried to overthrow the government on January 6 we're asked to stop. The police officers did not shoot them in the head.

This is very cheeky of me @richardkbroughton.bsky.social but would you be able to confirm these identifications? I've looked at books, tried the Merlin app and Google Lens but am still not 100% sure if the Linnets really are Linnets or are in fact Corn Buntings. I foolishly didn't pay enough 1/2
#birdwatching #birds
Can anyone confirm for me whether I have the correct IDs for these birds:
1. Linnet (female?)
2. Linnet (female - taking off?)
3. Corn Bunting
4. Linnet (male?)

Many thanks

The Telegraph sides with Trump against the BBC and, so, the country.

Private Eye sums up its feeble-minded, fawning betrayal beautifully.

Spotted this dragonfly on a walk close to our south-west cambridgeshire village. I think it is a female Southern migrant hawker (Aeshna affinis) @britishdragonflies.bsky.social
Are they common in Cambridgshire?

A great example of the British Right finally catching up. Their primary objective of 'owning the libs' has hit brutal reality.
