A central govt proposal. I assume there is a relief amongst the council (yourself included) that you can tell ratepayers that no council funds are going to be spent on that mess instead of building a more sustainable public transport infrastructure.

The problem with being useless sellouts is that even if you're subtly teasing incrementalism, no-one trusts you to follow through.

So I'll be voting for an actual wealth tax, to whack the rich and get real money. Labour's CGT can be a transitional tool, but I want real tax.
