My thoughts are with the people of Western Alaska. If emergency funds are needed, or funding needs to be reimbursed, I will absolutely support it this coming session. I hope and trust that our emergency services personnel will do all that they can.

Grabbed lunch in Bellingham with former ASD Superintendent Carol Comeau today! My brother and I both served as student reps to the Anchorage School Board when we were each in high school, and benefitted greatly from her years of leadership, commitment to students, and compassionate listening ear.

Anchorage Sen. Forrest Dunbar announced today that he WILL make it back for Dunleavy's surprise special session.
Dunleavy scheduled it during Dunbar's deployment to undermine a veto override, specifically on K12 funding.
Now I imagine there's a non-zero chance it gets canceled.
