While I will argue Boston is far superior, Chicago is absolutely lovely. As a transplant to the Midwest, I’ve spent a LOT of time in Chicago, for work and play and have never felt unsafe, even running alone in the morning.

My son has a friend who has a new name and uses They/Them pronouns. This kid is funny & just great to be around. My son was telling me about them tonight and while the name and pronoun change are new, he worked so hard to get it right and raved about his friend. The kids are gonna be alright.
