It’s our 5th time seeing Green Day- putting them with R.E.M., Pearl Jam, and Petty on our couple concert tally. We also get Cage the Elephant (2nd time), Sublime, Good Charlotte, and Twenty One Pilots. Sure, we’re 30 years older than anyone else here. Just means rock ain’t dead. And neither are we.

But the fact the American people elected this colossal Bozo in 2 of the past 3 presidential elections suggests the Democratic Party is in a severe crisis of messaging & connecting with voters concerns.

Obviously, nothing can undo the tragic events of the past week. But today’s meet-up of Brown grads to protest gun violence proved to be a chance to express our sorrow at the senseless murders of last Saturday & our outrage at the proliferation of mass shootings in America and beyond.
