I managed to pull off a wedding during Covid. The fear at the start was the worst… I’m in Detroit and we were really hard hit early. My socials were full of mourning. But when it slowed, being home was amazing. Our family blended and bonded. We have amazing memories from that time.

Ahsoka approves! She’s the only pet I currently have that didn’t come from a shelter, my former neighbor’s cat got out, got pregnant and we got her from the new owners of our previous home. She’s the sweetest snuggled.

Yesterday was a day filled with good news, valiant efforts and sad firings. But despite caring about all of those things, the most important news was that yesterday, another piece of my childhood ended. RIP, Val Kilmer. Thank you for providing so much quirky joy to the world.
