An admittedly cynical (but probably warranted) way to view this... Forget about the folks who are outside trying to get in. Every day folks who are already in the US have visas and green cards that need to be renewed. If this lasts long enough, they've just created a deportation feeder programme.

The villains in The Addams Family movies aren’t “Normal” people. They’re disingenuous ppl [hiding] the truth of themselves. …that that kind of behaviour gets equated w/ “normalcy” is [part] of the commentary. Tully AND Debbie would’ve been welcome, if they’d just been honest with & About themselves.
Back on tumblr I wrote a whole thing about both Tully and Debbie would've been welcomed into the family if they'd only be truly, honestly, and completely themselves.
