I am sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Saed. Saed is only 27 years old and is trying to support his whole family, including his mother who has an eye condition that if she does not get treatment for will leave her blind. They are displaced from their home and living in a tent.

Anyone who tells me that disabled people aren't being coerced or pressured into MAID need to read Normand Meunier's experience because something as simple as a damn mattress would have prevented him choosing MAID.

Normand Meunier (a quadriplegic) developed bedsores after being left FOUR days on ER gurney. He wasn’t turned & his pleas for a specialized mattress were ignored.
