We've come undone.
We wanted truth, but all we got were lies
Then came the time to realize...
And it was too late
The American government is going to be controlled by the same idiots who failed open book tests back in High School.

The country is going to be manipulated by the same dimwits who couldn't spell the word CAT - if you gave them the letters C and A as a clue.

The four stages of being a MAGA Cult member:

1. "I didn’t hear him say that."

2. "You’re misunderstanding him—that’s not what he meant."

3. "I don’t mind that he said that."

4. "I stand by whatever he says."

After 236 years to assert its independence as a part of a separate branch of government, the US Senate is now posed to abdicate its constitutional duty to advise and consent on presidential nominations.

Anyone you see on your timeline right now praising RFK Jr. is a person you never need to take seriously on anything ever again.

It is difficult to overstate just how extreme, conspiratorial, and insane RFK’s views are, on vaccines, microchips & beyond. He’s Alex Jones in a suit.

“The Senate won’t confirm them” is not even a wishful thinking response, it’s one that ignores what’s happening:

Trump announced in advance of these picks that he expects the Senate to shut itself down so he can make recess appointments — which means no confirmation process at all.

Donald Trump has just picked Tulsi Gabbard, a Putin stooge and a promoter of Russian propaganda, to be in charge of the entire US intelligence community. Will any Republican senator be concerned about this?

One of the most difficult reckonings of this election is that the incentives we thought inspired voting choices - a better life for your family etc - may not be as decisive as the desire to inflict cruelty on outgroups. Explanations that don't grapple w/this point read to me like liberal wishcasting

Trump announces reparations for white people.

He says he will ask the Justice Department to penalize colleges and schools that consider diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and fine them so he can pay “restitution” to white people who he considers the real victims of racial discrimination.

So, when Biden nominated a Black 4-star general and former CENTCOM commander (Lloyd Austin) as Secretary of Defense, it was DEI. But when Trump nominates a white Fox News host to be Secretary of Defense, it’s meritocracy.
