I know what you mean, but I can’t “celebrate” this, because the fact that this was a 5-4 vote is evidence of how far things have gone. 4 votes.
The Supreme Court allowing the New York sentencing of Donald Trump to move forward is a no-brainer legally and the right thing to do for some modest accountability, but the Court has sometimes behaved inexplicably on these issues, so it is good to see them do the right thing, albeit just barely.
