So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

Should be a huge news story. Again, why is Maxwell getting special treatment? Why is she in a minimum security camp? How come Trump didnt rule out a pardon?

I agree with this, IF there is a December vote.
Just not sure why we’re trusting people who already pulled the rug out from under us this year with a recessions package.
Just getting that frog & the scorpion vibe really strongly here.

That December vote is a huge moment we can turn into a victory. People are watching. Good bill, we win; they cheat, they will lose. If we fight united.

State & local police don’t have the bandwidth to address every DHS abuse or criminal copycat, but that doesn’t mean city and state officials should leave residents without any backup.
Special police task forces can-and-should make a difference. The fact we haven’t already seen this speaks volumes.

I’ll reiterate the fact that I have gone to my County board demanding they prepare our police to counter DHS & copycat criminality.
If you live in a blue city or state, I highly recommend you do as well as there is NO time to lose./1

I’m just going to keep banging this drum until I see real action from Mayors and Governors.
Homan is telegraphing the regime’s battle plan for this “soft civil war.” Counties, cities, and states have “soldiers” too — they’re called the police.
DHS overreach & criminal copycats are a crime wave.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.
Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.
This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.
