I just called it is quick and easy.
Even if you’re hearing your Senator is voting ‘no’ on cloture, keep calling and getting other constituents to call.

Senate Dems want to give up so badly. Maintain pressure to prevent waffling.

This vote was to start the process of the cuts. It WILL come back for a final vote.

There are some chances to slow or potentially stop it. Need constant pressure on GOP

Focus on GOP swing seats & key committees. Energy & Commerce is where the Medicaid fight will go down. Ways&Means for tax fight.
@aoc.bsky.social
Please explain what just happened. Is there no way to stop this w the reconciliation to be used by GOP to get around the filibuster? Are we sunk?

Looks like tomorrow will bring votes on a Republican plan to fund tax cuts for the rich by slashing Medicaid.

So this is a great time to contact your Member of Congress.

In Burbank this morning, I met a couple who told me they still didn’t know if their house was still standing.

We looked it up online and got the good news together.

It was still there.

kinda feel like the Bsky team won't listen to trans users about this, so I'll say it as a Cis Person: I don't want Jesse Singal on here spreading his lying hateful "just asking questions" bullshit. he is not acting in good faith, he causes active harm, and he adds nothing worthwhile to this platform

So, House Leadership races are left to the members to decide…

As I traveled the country, people have consistently complained about messaging. I’m wanting to assist my caucus & fight back as we enter the Trump Trifecta era. ✊🏾

You can call your members & advocate for them to vote for me.
Jasmine Crockett is challenging Debbie Dingell for chairmanship of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee.

I’m sorry but this is a no-brainer. If we are going to defeat Trumpism we need to turn the page on our defunct comms strategies.

Let’s go, Jasmine!
