I love this franchise and there's some sentimentality attached (my great grandmother used to record them on VHS for me when they played on TV), but I cannot in good faith go see the newest entry. Tired of companies thinking they can peddle their IP for cash and shit on basic human rights.

These are the legal filings that detail what happened to Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. He was beaten, psychologically tortured, and left malnourished. They made him kneel all night and struck him if he fell from exhaustion.

And you know what the talking heads seem to rarely use 'violent' to describe? The systemic destruction of families through ICE detentions and deportations. Breaking a window is framed *primarily* as violence, but taking a grandparent away from their kids or sending someone to a work camp isn't.
