I'm sure that there are plenty of good people who work in education technology, but I haven't received a single solicitation for an "EdTech" product (and my email is on some list due to teaching a bunch despite never being a professor, so I get a few) that wasn't some variety of snake oil.

thought about being successful but seems like either too much work or so little work you can't even try to do it deliberately
