I said this in my most recent @theatlantic.com article: The lawmakers had to make that video because it's so likely that Trump is, in fact, giving illegal orders, as @gregsargent.bsky.social discusses here.
What's weirdly missing from coverage of the Dem video is any discussion of this Q: Is it reasonable to fear Trump is giving illegal orders, or not? The answer is, yes, of course it is.

On the boat bombings, for instance, evidence is extensive. Here's a look at it:

The revelation of their plan this week shocked European leaders, who are now paying almost all of the military costs of the war, as well as the Ukrainians, who were not sure whether to take this latest plan seriously until they were told to agree to it by Thanksgiving or lose all further US support.
This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

Absolutely disgusting. T-rump and Huckabee continue to get in bed with the most unhinged cadre of the Israeli far right, in our name. Pollard is pond scum.
Jonathan Pollard is a convicted traitor who provided highly sensitive national security information to the Israeli government. He did grave harm to our country.

It’s unacceptable that Ambassador Huckabee secretly met with Mr. Pollard, a convicted traitor, at the United States Embassy.
