Exactly Do Something! Talk to people, donate to causes, run for office even if it is a precinct representative, go to your local meetings. (and yes I am now a precinct representative, I donate, and I challenge lies.)
I really don't understand why pundits don't understand this.

MANY of you have better platforms than any Democrat this side of AOC.

If you spend all your time whining (some more) about Democrats, then you are being just as feckless, you are giving the GOP just as much of a pass, as the Dems are.

Friday I signed paperwork for my mom to enter hospice. Medicare is not only allowing my mom to have dignity and comfort in her final days/weeks/months, but allows me to enjoy her and not worry about finances. But yeah...I guess mom is just another line item to Musk and Trump.

This is just becoming doom scrolling. Everyone seems happy tio bitch, moan, complain and blame others. volved and yes I have. I ran to represent my precinct as a Dem and am involved every single day doing things to strengthen democracy and the rule of law.

There is no strict constitutional prohibition against giving the nuclear codes to teenagers, so it’s hard to see why liberals are so upset about the DOGE kids taking over the Pentagon.

It’s not about foreign aid. It’s about dismantling our government by unelected, uncleared, anonymous assholes while defying the law, Congress, and the Judiciary. They picked foreign aid so the MAGA horde would cheer and Dems dither. What’s pathetic is Axelrod, Emmanuel, and Carville don’t get that.

Don't let Trump spin you, he backed down on the Mexican tariffs when the market dropped out, GOP electeds finding a backbone to complain, and the WSJ calling it the "dumbest trade war in history".

Trump blinked and embarrassed himself plain and simple.

Elon takes that money and buys the government.

So are we still getting rid of consumer protection? Last week my 89 yr old mother had her CC # used to buy $200 of "urban accessories". 2 days ago someone tried to order some very nice skincare with my CC and today my husband had his shut down....for his own purchase (okay that one was funny.)

I say that, actually, as someone who may very well be on his hit list. After all, he owes E. Jean Carroll $88.3 million in no small part because of me.

I’d rather fight than take a pardon. But I do understand why others may vehemently disagree, and I don’t take offense at their harsh replies.
You say that as if you aren’t on his hit list.

Trump lies every time he opens his mouth, and I'm supposed to be mad at Biden for lying about pardoning his own son??

The double-standard applied to Democrats is genuinely appalling.

I'm glad that Joe pardoned Hunter, because Patel has said if he's the new FBI head, he'll go after Hunter 24/7 until he's got him locked up. They're not fooling, folks. They want everyone locked up who won't lockstep with them.

It’s also (ultimately) so inconsequential to our futures. It makes the difference of all the world and limited time for the Biden family. Let them have peace and we figure out how to protect States from guaranteed Federal overreach or future measles outbreaks or something.

My feelings about the Hunter Biden pardon are complicated, but the idea that it gives Trump justification to pardon January 6th insurrectionists is a ridiculous, bad-faith take. He’s going to do whatever he wants and abuse his power to help himself and those loyal to him.

Truth be told, it does seem kind of silly to have the FBI do background checks on presidential appointees when the president is a convicted criminal and an adjudicated digital rapist.
