This work by Turner at MFA Boston, depicts a sinking slave ship. It is violent, horrifying, beautifully painted, and as moving as any piece in the museum. The use of yellow into orange and darker reds, the hellish glow. I’m still shook by this, so emotional.

I think the NHL should do the Frozen Frenzy thing several times a season. I also think they should mix in a couple games at awesome neutral locations like old prep school barns and outdoors games on the same day. Do this on Saturdays or Sundays, please.
