The single use of AI I’d be kind of okay with would be depicting Trump reading his epic wee hour tantrum posts. Nobody actually gets through those things, dramatizing them would be sobering.

Prime example of white privilege in plain sight.

Black kids get called adults to justify blame, while white adults get called “kids” to excuse their hate. They’re not boys and girls, they’re grown-ass men and women, and the receipts are in writing.

Yeah this is a very bad idea. In my experience the people going by far the fastest in the parks are those on regular racing bicycles who are training for races and going sometimes as much as 30mph
Intro 0060 is a terrible bill. Banning *all* bicycles with pedal-assist (Citi Bikes, Rad Power) in *all* parks is unnecessary and punitive, and like most of these spiteful proposals, does nothing to address pedestrian safety. Also: “and victims” is some crazy journalism.
Over 100 cyclists, pedestrians and victims gathered at Central Park to stop e-bike riding in NYC parks
Over 100 New Yorkers gathered outside Central Park on Wednesday to demand an end to a program that welcomes e-bike riding in city parks.

This quote from James Baldwin's Notes of a Native Son is just as true today as it was in 1955...

“I imagine that one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, that they will be forced to deal with pain.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has officially announced that he is running for Senate. So here's everything you need to know about him—if you care about reality.

Let's start with the fact that he had to take literal ethics classes after he was indicted for securities fraud. (1/5)
Ken Paxton is going to take some classes on how to be more ethical
He could use some tips.

You ever find yourself wading through Trump’s incoherent word vomit, trying to make sense of whatever the hell he’s rambling about, and then—mid-sentence—your brain just short-circuits, you blurt out a big ol’ fuck you!—before rage quitting the whole thing? Yeah, same.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Stop saying "if" they defy the courts. It’s always been "when"—not if. No one who studies these two men professionally—and I do—ever doubted that. Both men believe they’re above the law; don’t value human life; and don’t believe America should be a democracy. They believe their time to act is _now_.

Kardashians if D.C. is the most accurate description I’ve seen. Shameful that so many people have jobs they know nothing about doing. Their entire purpose is to create, and fans the flames of, chaos.
Another plane crash today, and while lives are shattered, the transportation secretary is busy in Daytona, groveling at Trump's feet.

It’s a disgraceful spectacle, as they act more like the Kardashians of DC than public servants. How many more crashes before they put safety over selfies?
