Here's the thing: like many tech companies, Songtradr doesn't make money by selling things. Even digital things like licenses. They don't know jacksh*t about selling music to fans. The company is kept afloat by borrowing money from investors.

I'd really like people to stop doing this too, all around. Stop conflating Palestinians with Hamas, stop conflating Israelis with Israel, stop treating each as homogenous groups and reifying anti-Palestinian and antisemitic ideas and topes

Israel has absolutely no bearing on my safety but I do like the subtle “we don’t care about your safety in the US if we’re being honest” subtext.
Biden saying "without Israel, no Jew is safe" made me think I was having a stroke. even if you believe that, and even if you shamefully don't believe non-Jewish lives matter, what about this moment could make anyone think Israel even cares about keeping Israeli Jews safe, let alone us
