I saw Sly Dunbar drum for Peter Tosh and Black Uhuru in a relatively brief span of time in the early 80sand bought a ton of records over the years. One of the greatest musicians I ever saw. Rest triumphant.

Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

I worked with Matthew at Touch & Go and he designed the kranky logo. This is tearing me up - he had a humor and sparkle in his eyes that was unforgettable.
Matthew was my cousin-in-law. He was such a light — so funny, kind, creative and curious. He is missed.
RIP Matthew Taylor, long time art director at T&G records and bass man for a bunch of bands including the excellent Bellini..

We are currently living under slopitalism, where things are made to break, all payment models are predatory, you don't own anything, and companies no longer need to offer a good service because the barrier to entry into the market is so high that most fields have almost monopolies.
