the gradual replacement of “exchanging money for goods” with “exchanging money for a license to use goods as a service” has been one low key one of the worst changes of the 21st century
this is exactly why i still buy discs in 2023. it's crazy to think that we are reaching a point where piracy will be the only option to own media once dvds and blu-rays are gone.

BEGGING people to understand AI language models are just fancy autocomplete, with no ability to fact-check themselves for accuracy. It can’t *answer* a question, it can only spit out something that follows the shape of an answer.

Libraries are arguably the best thing the United states has going.

They are not just book collections. They are free public space, job finding lifelines, connections to family genealogy, vital resources for parents. Libraries should be funded, utilized, and universally accessible

I have been trying to regain access to my Coinbase account for months. I have submitted the asked for verification multiple times . The verification has been accepted, but I'm still unable to access my account. No reason given. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a class action against Coinbase?
