I think Laura Palmer is now one of my favourite characters of all time.

My relationship to where I’m from has improved a lot in recent years due to meeting my North American boyfriend who has helped me view it with fresh eyes - but even when I really didn’t like the place and couldn’t wait to move to London, I was always so proud Wallace and Gromit was based here 🥰🧀🐧🐶🪛🤖

Personally, I choose to believe that Colin Firth and Jeff Bridges should just swap acting Oscars, so Firth wins in 2009 for A Single Man and Bridges in 2010 for True Grit. An easy peasy swap.

Absolutely incredible. Not to be sincere on main but a genuinely transcendent cinematic experience. Contains literally every single thing I love about cinema in a film so yes big fan, definitely going to become an all time favorite ✨✨

I’ve been very critical of the valorization of Shakespeare as the “greatest author of the English language” but I also feel like sometimes people use the whole “he’s another old white guy” thing to absolve themselves of having to engage with any literature from the past. And I think that’s bad too.
