Yes, its tough to refute all the garbage that is spewed in a tweet but that's also the job.
100+ characters won't distill every talking point and attention spans are tiny but this is our democracy. The written word defined it in its infancy and needs to defend it now.

We have forgotten the lessons from Hiroshima and Nagasaki and I fear that we will soon have to relearn them the hard way - through first hand experience.

Working past my instinctive outrage to the point where you she that’s the reaction this is designed to provoke. They’re trying to normalize depraved, undemocratic conduct by the executive branch so people will stop noticing. Once you see that, you realize how important our outrage is. Keep it up.
