It's not even sad at this point it's just...
It REALLY pisses me off that everything NEEDS a disclaimer of "This was made without any AI" and even STILL you can never be sure when someone is lying and will be later caught for using GenAI. They know they don't belong in the creative's space but want to pretend so fucking bad.

sometimes i wonder if the rise of monster fuckers is somewhat influenced by how beauty is so generic now. in hollywood, with the rich influences, with filters and ai. i've never been a fan of that "perfect" samey look, with smooth skin and no unique features. i rather have a monster too.

i hate gen AI. i hate having to second guess everything i see online cause so frequently it's just AI. i hate that my coworker will show me a funny video at work and it's AI. i hate that my mom will send me a gift she thinks i'll like and she doesn't realize it's AI slop. i'm so so so so sick of it

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

It's been almost 9 years since I started playing Pokémon, to this day I still understand nothing of EVs and IVs
pokemon is wild cause like they'll painfully hold your hand and tell you how to catch a pokemon every game, whether you like it or not. but won't explain the hell math that goes into natures, EVs you need an hour long video to hope to understand how pokeblocks and contests work.
