Today on my Morning Walk it was -4 degrees and I saw something amazing - this tree is COVERED in icicles and it's like something out of Narnia and I loved it. I also nearly trod on a robin cos I thought it was a leaf but no harm done

If I was fleeing violence I would simply leave my children in said violence, to be polite

/s, obviously

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GOVT
BBC News: "the government believe refugees are deliberately bringing their children to avoid deportation"

As opposed to doing what with their children??

I've been looking for grief counselling because of the ol' dad death and apparently many therapists won't accept patients till 6 MONTHS after the death?! This seems wild to me, like just do the worst bit on your own then see how you feel

In the pandemic I made a witch hat for my guinea pig and we did a photo shoot with him and honestly maybe when I look back on my life I'll realise that was my heyday

My dad died and it feels like I'm constantly carrying a massive box of grief and one of the most shocking things I'm learning about grieving is that NO ONE CAN SEE IT. And if someone says 'sorry about your dad' it's like they've said 'here I'll hold that for a few seconds' and it's such a RELIEF

I've just bought this beautiful print and can't wait to display it for Samhain/Halloween
Market day, again.
A dark and spooky start to the day.
Our new prints have been massively popular with the creatures of the night and are selling quickly.
If you want one, you better hurry.

My dad died recently and one of our shared interests was Terry Pratchett. Precisely because our books show years of shared reading they are so special. Mort has a note in the back where my dad wrote the code to my bike lock and they're the most meaningful four numbers in existence @rhi.bsky.social
