I do not want to “Do my own research.” I want to pay trained accredited experts to do the research, trained accredited experts to report on findings, and trained accredited experts to make policy based on them.

Hiyahiya sharps poke holes in my fingertips. I need to know someone who likes sharp knitting needles, because I am a chiao-goo user through and through but I have one pair of hiyahiyas in size 4. I can't stop using them even though I hate them because they're always just.. HERE. And handy.

I keep hearing people say they don't take over the counter medications because they "don't treat the root cause anyway", and I'm so confused.
Is that why people are taking OTC meds??
I mean it's true, they won't "cure" you, but I'm concerned people don't know that symptom relief is a thing :/

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.
