If we're going to realistically recover from CPTSD, we need to communicate to our nervous system, our "parts," & our inner child, w/ every decision we make: I am on your side. I can & will listen to you. I will not turn on you. I will not abandon you.

No matter what.

I'm in. The timing is right - fascist right wing are getting their feet under the table. There is momentum with Corbyn and Sultana, well known and visibly fighting for social justice. Need to cultivate solidarity with other parties (Greens & Socialists) coz united in opposition makes us stronger 🙏🍉

This study shows that when in doubt of necessity, do not section a person as it causes more harm.
In my opinion this is because taking away autonomy reinforces existing trauma. Practices need to become truly patient-centered, which involves ditching the culture of risk and liability.

Access to Work support slashed, NOT supporting us to work. Together with proposed PIP cuts, confirms UK Government attack on disabled people. I was given 32 week wait for AtW. Luckily my workplace agreed my adjustments, or I could not work either.
Disgusting!!!

As someone actually trained in behavioural psychology—unlike most MPs—I can tell you: financial precarity doesn’t “incentivise” sick people to work. It breaks them. Stress worsens health. Fear doesn’t create productivity. It creates collapse. #TakingThePIP
DWP boss just said Universal Credit gives disabled people 'perverse incentives' not to work

Liz Kendall's shocking comments came just as a new report slams the DWP for failing vulnerable claimants.

So which is it???

Labour has a vision of a good disabled person, who has a positive attitude and therefore works full time in a nice professional job and doesn’t need benefits. Everyone else has a negative attitude and is probably encouraged not to work by “perverse incentives”.

Yesterday I got hacked and robbed. This morning, I received this message on my phone: "Your $2,500 can be returned — but only if you stop reporting on Palestine. There are plenty of other things you could focus on. Keep digging into this, and it won’t just be your money at risk."

The Government's Universal Credit Bill has passed, rushing it through in one day, without a committee stage where Disabled people's voices could have been heard.

It's clear: the government views Disabled lives as nothing more than a cost-cutting exercise

A small group of people control everyone's ability to earn and that group scratches each others' backs to make sure they get first dibs on the lion's share of a company's profits before the leftovers get passed on to the workers who generated the wealth. I don't think the problem is just modern.

Dear MPs

This bill of yours is an absolute disaster.

It is causing a huge amount of anguish, terror and increasing risk.

You are moving the tectonic plates of safety around. You are making life more and more precarious.

Please vote down this bill and work with us.
