The UK is really lagging on this open goal. Canada also have a massive opportunity too, given their new Horizon affiliation.

This is ridiculous. NSF is pausing *all* outgoing grants awarded this cycle and subjecting them to a “secondary review” by DOGE.

Gumming up the funding pipeline like this threatens the job security of nearly a million graduate students and post docs, to say nothing of the science…

The Trump administration has clawed back $30 million of funding from the University of Hawaiʻi, targeting research related to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility, sustainability, renewable energy, climate change, and minority health disparities. It will get worse.
