Dear all,

Helen passed away at 13:21 local time. Helen would not have wanted us to be sad for a long time. All they wanted was to be remembered. They looked forward to being rid of pain and to being at rest. Helen took great comfort in you, their friends and readers.

This is a beautiful reflection on the way we characterize others and the importance of the idiographic in that. Brings me back to my Allport roots. Most elegant integration of personality is the nomothetic-idiographic for me.

So many important things are discussed at conferences. When international travel is dangerous & science is under threat & research funding is being slashed & we know how bad flying is for the climate & we have technology to make it happen, the fact that all conferences aren't hybrid is wild. 🧪

my publisher @thepinkhydra.com also offers my novella outside Amazon. Just $3.20 for a two hour fantasy in a beautiful secondary world and city which reminds you of Oxford. A comfort optimistic story without powerful and wealthy protagonists

Oh, he wrote a lot of other music. But all anybody ever wanted to hear was the one song. His "fans" did him dirty. They'd go to a concert, wait for the one song, go crazy, and then leave. In the middle of the show.

What is wild to me is that humans until industrialization would have two blocks of sleep. After a first sleep of some hours they would wake up and do stuff: visit friends, have sex, a small meal etc. And then they'd turn back in for a second longer sleep. So don't worry if you wake in the night.

An editor saw the potential of this novella and published it. It's selling well and has glowing reviews. Yet it was rejected so many times. I knew it's a good story. Don't give up. www.amazon.com/Artistry-Mag...
