Actually if you look historically at the times that had the most advances in art and cool new ideas etc, it typically was times of prosperity, where people had time to get better at these things. You grind people into the ground and it’s a lot harder to come up with something lovely and new.

A Mango Update and a couple things I'd like to address:
Mango is improving every day! In this video she has regained a lot of her coordination.
I was honestly worried she wouldn't improve at all until meds get here, but that's not the case. I feel like I'm having a difficult time

Amanda is an old college friend of mine whose one of the best caretakers for her birds I've ever seen over the years. Any monetary help and shares would be super appreciated to help her sweet birbs out since Mango is gonna need medication for the rest of her life.
So as we drive back to pick up Mango from an avian specialist vet 3 hours away, we have an update. What's been wrong with Mango is this:
They found that she has a heart murmur and almost certainly has heart disease. It is genetic. It is treatable, but not curable. She will need to be on 3
