Many news reports of a Zelle outage today. The agency in charge of helping consumers navigate an outage like this, and holding the firm accountable is us: the CFPB.

Yet, Trump and Russell Vought are still trying in court to illegally shut us down.

CNN: I want to share the concern of dock workers. The Int'l Longshore and Warehouse Union released a statement saying trade policies shouldn't be dictated by "a president's whims"

CHAVEZ-DeREMER: That quote sounded exactly in line with the president

a psa for those who need it:

For over a year, I’ve been avoiding a medical test. I finally bit the bullet and got it done today. I was in and out in 18 minutes with my results by mid-afternoon. It was so damn easy and I’m kicking myself for waiting so long.

Is this Bluesky appropriate?

Having to put your pet to sleep is so effing weird. Every single day I feed her and greet her and then I’m supposed to let her die?!? Wtf.

The current political climate is such that today, when I went to get a medication adjustment, my psych spent 20 minutes grilling me about tariffs.

I just wanted to change my Adderall script and instead I did a whole presentation on the U.S. economy.🫠

(He was very grateful, btw)

Feels like just last year USTR was having productive discussions with counterparts in MX and Canada, making good use of the rapid response mechanism, expanding market access, and protecting workers across North America.

Probably because it WAS just last year.

Harriet the Spy and Enemy of the State are two of my favorite films. I’m really going through it right now.
Must watch Runaway Jury and Enemy of the State tonight. Two of my favorite Gene Hackman performances.

Me, an early aughts blogger: heavy on the unedited ramblings. It was literally word vomit five to seven times a week and it was glorious.
Remember blogs? Remember when everyone had blogs and a tip jar and you didn’t have to pay wealthy legacy journalists and professors 70 dollars a year to read their unedited ramblings?
