Despite record tariffs paid by the American people, it's not making up the difference in revenue to cover the massive Trump tax cuts: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
US July Tariff Revenue Jump Fails to Halt Wider Budget Gap
US tariff revenue reached a fresh monthly record in July, though the increase wasn’t enough to prevent a widening in the monthly budget deficit — pointing to the federal government’s continuing fiscal...

Not remembering he appointed Powell himself is kind of a perfect encapsulation of how poorly thought out and stupid this move is.

So once again we’ve jumped into war in Middle East with no clear strategy, goal, or exit plan and little American support.

Trump put U.S. troops, diplomats, and civilians in harm's way because he can’t stomach the hard-nosed diplomacy necessary and we’re all less safe because of his decision.

For no reason, today I've been thinking about that time a bunch of GOP House members broke into a SCIF where classified hearings were being held with media in tow, refused to give up their devices, and live tweeted from inside. No one was escorted out or put in cuffs. www.wired.com/story/republ...

WOW. The Trump admin said they will review social media and deny immigration benefits to people saying antisemitic claims. They're even trying to deport people with green cards on alleged claims of antisemitism.

Anyway, here's a tweet from an Afrikaner they flew here on Monday.

It is honestly wild to me that Republicans cooked up a bill that would prohibit D.C. from spending more than $1 billion of its own budget, devastating our city services out of pure spite, *and Senate Democrats might actually vote for it.* Utterly appalling. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...
House spending bill would lead to $1B in D.C. cuts. Here’s what that means.
The bill, also known as a continuing resolution, now moves to the Senate, where D.C. officials hope Democrats will help them defeat the measure.

Not much about lowering prices for working people.
Trump is highlighting trans youth, DEI and... dead people's social security in his big speech to Congress.

Here's what to know about his address so far👇
Trump's obsession with dead people getting Social Security checks is alive and well
Trump has been throwing out exaggerated figures and misrepresenting Social Security data for weeks.

Donald Trump is lying about Social Security for one reason:

So he has an excuse to CUT Social Security.

That's always been the GOP's plan.
