in case you didn’t know, in a year voyager 1 will be 1 light-DAY away from earth.

it took almost 50 YEARS of travel time to reach that distance and will be the first human-made object to reach this distance.

When I was a little kid my Appalachian mom and dad constantly told me to stop “sworping”. You may have not ever heard the word unless you’re from the mountains. (The definition says a lot about me.🫢)

Trump will sign EO today banning trans people from military service. He did so in 2017, but Biden reversed it in 2021. Here is why today is different: in 2020 SCOTUS decided that excluding trans people is sex based discrimination (Bostock vs Clayton County).

This EO is illegal discrimination.

A 17 year old opened fire in a Nashville high school today. Hours before police shared his name, fringe extremist communities correctly identified him as one of their own. He left behind a manifesto expressing unadulterated neo-Nazi ideology that endorsed violent “accelerationst” tactics.

On this inauguration day, a simple point from Assigned Media:

Trans people are 1 percent of the population. The ruling GOP has made persecuting us their top priority.

Any talk of distractions or common sense must reckon with this. A defenseless minority, relentlessly pursued, because of hate.
Inauguration Day — Assigned
Today, Donald Trump is inaugurated for his second term as President of the United States of America. It’s important that we acknowledge and remember who Republican lawmakers and the incoming President...

What a weekend. Before he's even inaugurated, President-elect Donald Trump has all the major tech platforms under his thumb.

• Musk a MAGA henchman
• Zuckerberg, Bezos vassels
• Google in DOJ antitrust cross hairs
• TikTok regards Trump as savior

This man and a small group of capitol police officers singlehandedly saved our democracy four years ago.

In November, 77 million Americans said "to hell with them" and voted for the insurrectionists.

Your "Back the Blue" flags are a pathetic disgrace and your patriotism is bullsh*t.

Elon buying twitter is not unlike when a failed comic buys a comedy club to give himself stage time.
The top story on Twitter is all the sycophants praising Elon Musk for Starlink?
