During Christmas, a time when so many people are spending time with family for the holidays, I always notice that a disproportionate number of service industry workers who are covering those days tend to be queer.
It always makes me a bit sad why this is likely the case.

The biological mechanisms of chronic pain are different from acute pain. Because of "central sensitization", the body creates/increases pain in familiar patterns during times of high stress. If you are having a big flare up of physical symptoms, know that this is normal. Be so kind to yourself.

It does not change who is allowed to use the restroom, but the language change is in fact anti trans. "All-gender" affirms the existence of more than 2 genders. Changing the sign is a back-tracking concession. It's not a "pointless re labelling". It's very pointed.
There's a post over on Twitter that I've been laughing to myself about. Some right-wing guy is celebrating that a school took down "All-Gender" bathroom signs and replaced them with "Single Occupancy Restroom" signs. And like... it's the same thing, man. You're celebrating a pointless relabeling.

This is the Georgiana Falls trail in Franconia Notch. It was gorgeous and a great alternative to the Cascades Trail which can have a lot of hikers.
