The good part is that you can make new patterns. Soothing experiences and time can bring relief. Yesterday I had a flare up of old pain while witnessing collective trauma. I reminded myself what was happening and gave myself lots of kindness. Today I am ok. It takes a lot of practice. Keep hope. 💚
